This collection is the gallery music for the Pueblo Grande Museum (Phoenix, AZ) exhibition, One World, Many Voices: The Artistry of Canyon Records, which features 38 photographs of Canyon Records artists, memorabilia from Canyon history, and a display of Native Americans flutes and their construction. New, commissioned music from R. Carlos Nakai, Aaron White, Jonah Littlesunday, and Xavier Quijas Yxayotl present the contemporary Native American and Mexico flute traditions. Historically and culturally important songs by Ed Lee Natay and Lo:dac (Earl Ray) represent classic vocal traditions. Nakai (Coyote in the Inner World), White (The Moon and the Water), Yxayotl (Por el amor a nuestra madre tierra) and Littlesunday (Nahosdzaan Biyinn – Earth Song) each created one song inspired by the Hohokam pot displayed on the cover.
